Sarkis’ Stained Glasses at Le Musée des Pêcheries

Le Musée des Pêcheries hosts Sarkis’ big size experimentations of the art of stained glass that combines glass and lead. His stained glass journey embraces the refined ancient stained glass technique whose roots go back to the Middle Ages and contemporary photography exploring its new practices by combining natural and artificial light. Those stained glasses interpreting the light of the space beyond their architectural constraints come together at the Musée des Pêcheries surrounded by sea water, with all-day changing light. Le Vitraux de Sarkis aux Pêcheries exhibition runs through June 9–November 12.
