Bernard Frize Retrospective at the Centre Pompidou
Bernard Frize is at the Paris Centre Pompidou with a retrospective titled Without Repentance, designed by himself. Sixty pieces representing his art life dedicated to search of materiality of technique and continuous development of method, from 70’s to our day are exhibited at the retrospective. Frize, focusing on the process of production rather than elements such as colour, composition, symbol, poses an enjoyable challenge to the viewer: seeing/hearing the “pictorial partitions.” The retrospective runs through May 29 to August 26. Frize’s first solo exhibition in Istanbul was held at Dirimart in 2018.
