Davide Balliano’s exhibition continues at Museo del Novecento

The Museo del Novecento in Florence invites artists active on the international scene to carry out site-specific interventions inspired by the museum’s collection. On this occasion, Davide Balliano presents his exhibition titled Attesa, curated by the Museum’s artistic director, Sergio Risaliti. In the exhibition, Balliano engages in a dialogue with Arturo Martini’s sculpture titled Susanna, created around 1935 and developed around the theme of waiting. For the first time, Balliano exhibits the photographic documentation of his performance Giving My Back to the Night I Heard You Lying to a Giant (2011). The exhibition, where the artist also exhibits a new sculpture made of steel in dialogue with Susanna by Martini runs through September 12.
