Zeid, Elderoğlu, and Eyüboğlu at the Grey Art Gallery, New York

The Grey Art Gallery, New York University’s fine arts museum, houses a comprehensive exhibition titled Modernisms: Iranian, Turkish, and Indian Highlights from NYU’s Abby Weed Grey Collection, presenting, for the first time, the prominent collector’s collection of modern Asian and Middle Eastern art in New York combining paintings, sculptures, prints, and drawings she collected during her many travels in the 1960s and early ’70s from Iran, Turkey, and India. Works of Fahrelnissa Zeid, Âbidin Elderoğlu, Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu is on view, among others, from September 10 to December 7. The exhibition is planned to travel to Block Art Museum at Northwestern University on January 21–April 5, 2020, and New York University Abu Dhabi Art Gallery, in fall 2020.
