Turks, Jews, and Other Germans in Contemporary Art by MIT Press

The first book to examine multicultural visual art in Germany, discussing over thirty contemporary artists, Turks, Jews, and Other Germans in Contemporary Art is published by The MIT Press. It is an edited book with a title echoing Peter Gay’s book Freud, Jews, and Other Germans (1977), that defies the idea of “us” and “them” in the German culture. Among thirty artists are Özlem Günyol-Mustafa Kunt and Nasan Tur who live and work in Germany.
