Hayal Pozanti (b. 1983, Istanbul) received her BA from Sabancı University, Istanbul and her MFA from Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut. Her selected solo exhibitions include Pleasures Newly Found, Jessica Silverman, San Francisco (2025); The World For A Mirror, Timothy Taylor, New York (2023); .tr, Dirimart Nişantaşı, Istanbul (2017) and Deep Learning, Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, Ridgefield, Connecticut (2015). Selected group exhibitions include Relentless Tenderness, Public Art Fund 40th Anniversary Exhibition, World Trade Center, New York (2017); From Minimalism into Algorithm, The Kitchen, New York (2016); Then They Form Us, Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara (2015); Women and Abstraction, Cornell Fine Arts Museum, Winter Park (2015); REUNION, Sakıp Sabancı Museum, Istanbul (2015) and Prospect.3 New Orleans Biennial (2014). Her work is included in major collections such as The Broad Art Museum, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), and the J.P. Morgan Private Bank Collection. Hayal Pozantı lives and works in Manchester, Vermont.
