On the 50th anniversary of his passing, Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu was commemorated with a special event organised by Dirimart at Minoa Sahne, Istanbul. The programme, which focused on the artist’s life, works, and legacy, featured talks by his grandson Rahmi Eyüboğlu as well as the painter Mustafa Pilevneli and art historian Ömer Faruk Şerifoğlu. The event also included the screening of a 20-minute documentary originally broadcast on TRT, the national TV broadcaster of Turkey, in 1972.
