Anselm Reyle is featured at the 30th edition of the ROHKUNSTBAU exhibition, centred on the theme of Aesthetic Rearmament and addressing the growing impact of the (re)nationalisation and (re)ideologisation of cultural policies on art and society. Showcasing the work of 18 artists, the exhibition emphasises the need to uphold the autonomy of art, and its vital social functions as a means of autonomy, freedom, and creativity. Opened on 12 July, the exhibition, through site-specific works, showcases art’s ability to challenge media-driven, standardised perceptions and counteract the loss of authentic experience in an AI-influenced reality. The exhibition will be on display until 2 November 2025 at the Altdöbern Castle.
