Sarah Morris is presented at Sensing Meaning, Abstract Painting opened at Ruby City on 27 September, bringing together an extraordinary selection of works from 1945 to the present. Showcasing diverse approaches to abstraction, including Joan Mitchell’s gestural expressionism, Nancy Haynes’s minimalist sensibility, and Pablo Picasso’s biomorphic forms, the exhibition invites visitors to engage with abstraction as a poetic language that conveys emotion, memory, and meaning through colour, form, line, and space. Highlighting traditional and unconventional materials, Sensing Meaning will be on view at Ruby City until 30 August 2026.
