Shirin Neshat is featured in the exhibition Les Yeux dans les yeux (Eyes in the Eyes), organised by the City of Rennes and Rennes Métropole in collaboration with the Pinault Collection. On view from 14 June to 14 September 2025 at the historic Couvent des Jacobins, the exhibition brings together nearly ninety works from the Pinault Collection, exploring the enduring significance of portraiture across media and time periods. Curated by Jean-Marie Gallais, the show examines how the human face – captured through painting, photography, sculpture, and film – reflects individual identity and collective experience.
