Peter Zimmermann is featured in Nachleben: Painting as Conceptual Art, on view from 4 July 2025 to 4 January 2026. The exhibition examines painting as one of the most conceptually rich artistic practices and considers how any image – regardless of origin – can serve as the basis for a painting. The exhibition reflects on the enduring significance of abstraction and its pivotal role in twentieth-century art, while highlighting how contemporary approaches to painting continue to expand the medium’s boundaries and reaffirm its relevance in today’s visual culture.
