Jorinde Voigt’s installation is on view at Aliée Istanbul, featuring eight brass mobiles from her Contemplation series and her eight works on paper titled Immersive Integral – Universal Splash. Drawing on mathematical principles such as the Fibonacci sequence and the golden ratio, Voigt’s sculptures present three-dimensional diagrams that reflect on the structural order of the universe. Her paper works, including materials such as Indian ink, gold leaf, pastel, and graphite, explore themes of perception and collective experience. Developed through a process rooted in Istanbul, the installation aims to establish an organic connection with the city’s memory. On view for six months, the works interact not only with each other but also with the viewer, forming a constantly shifting and personal experience.
