Anselm Reyle is among the featured artists in MINEBANE! Contemporary Art – The Taguchi Art Collection, on view from 19 July to 7 September 2025 at the Akita Museum of Art and the Akita City Senshu Museum of Art in Japan. Showcasing approximately one hundred works from the Taguchi Art Collection, one of Japan’s foremost private collections, the exhibition takes its title from minebane, a word in the Akita dialect meaning ‘you have to see it.’ Spanning contemporary practices from across the Americas, Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia, the exhibition is organised under four main themes: ‘The Workings of Nature’, ‘The Workings of Humanity’, ‘Monochrome’, and ‘Colour’.
