Jennifer Ipekel is participating in the 6th edition of XTANT Textile Festival, taking place from 9 to 13 May 2025 in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Curated by textile specialists Kavita Parmar and Marcella Echavarria, this year’s edition, titled HUACA: to revere and examine, explores the intersection of textiles with the sacred and the spiritual. Held across historic venues such as Can Vivot, Es Baluard Museum, and Can Balaguer, the festival highlights the cultural significance of textiles in connecting material and spiritual realms. Featuring over 70 artists from 20 countries, the programme includes exhibitions, workshops, and masterclasses alongside talks and panels on sustainability, cultural heritage, and the future of textile arts.
