Sarah Morris is featured in Five Essays on MASP – Geometries, a group exhibition at the São Paulo Museum of Art (MASP), on view from 28 March to 3 August 2025. The exhibition, curated by Adriano Pedrosa, Regina Teixeira de Barros, and Matheus de Andrade, combines traditional and experimental approaches to geometric abstraction across various media. The exhibition enriches MASP’s predominantly figurative collection with abstract and geometric works, expanding its scope with contributions from diverse times and regions. Visitors encounter a spatial experience shaped by ‘folded’ walls that explore the possibilities of shapes, presenting a layout that transcends geographical and temporal boundaries. Morris’s work appears alongside national and international artists who use geometry to engage with political, social, and cultural themes.
