Shirin Neshat’s solo exhibition BODY OF EVIDENCE is on view at Padiglione d’Arte Contemporanea (PAC), Milan from 28 March to 8 June 2025. Curated by Diego Sileo and Beatrice Benedetti, the exhibition spans over thirty years of the artist’s career, featuring nearly 200 photographs and ten video installations, with works from major collections including the Whitney Museum of American Art, MoMA, the Guggenheim New York, and Tate Modern. While grounded in the female perspective, Neshat’s work transcends gender, using dualities such as male vs. female and exile vs. belonging to examine deeper human tensions. BODY OF EVIDENCE offers a compelling overview of Neshat’s visually rich and ideologically layered oeuvre.
