Ghada Amer is featured in Border Crossings: Contemporary Art from the Zirinsky Collection, a group exhibition on view at the Allen Memorial Art Museum in the Ellen Johnson Gallery. The exhibition celebrates a landmark donation of more than 170 works by Oberlin alumni Driek and Michael Zirinsky, whose collecting philosophy foregrounded diversity, cross-cultural dialogue, and direct support for artists. Reflecting the Zirinskys’ interest in themes of identity, displacement, and global exchange, Border Crossings presents works that challenge dominant narratives and foreground marginalised voices with nuance and often disarming humour. The exhibition can be visited until 1 June 2025.
