Shirin Neshat is featured in Mirror of the Mind: Figuration in the Jorge M. Pérez Collection, a group exhibition at El Espacio Twenty Three in Miami’s Allapattah neighborhood. Bringing together over 120 artists, the exhibition examines the deep connection between the physical and emotional aspects of the human body. Through photography, painting, sculpture, and video, Mirror of the Mind explores themes of perception, trauma, healing, and identity. The body is presented as both a material and symbolic vessel, one that experiences, documents, and transforms, highlighting the enduring role of figuration in contemporary art. Mirror of the Mind will be on view until 16 August 2025.
