Çağla Ulusoy’s artist’s book OVERWORKED was recently launched as part of the border_less ARTBOOK DAYS' Public Talk Programme. The event featured an engaging conversation between Ulusoy and moderator, Merve Akar Akgün. The publication offers a comprehensive look into Ulusoy’s practice, bringing together eighty-three abstract paintings distinguished by their unique visual language and colour palette alongside collages that reflect the artist’s working processes. Through the use of acrylic, oil paint, sand, and wax, Ulusoy creates compositions where harmony and friction coexist, constantly challenging the balance between colour and form. OVERWORKED aims to open up new perspectives and spark critical curiosity around the artist’s multilayered and uncanny aesthetic.
