Peter Zimmermann participates in the group exhibition THE END JUSTIFIES THE MEANS. Der Wunsch, die Abstraktion, die Stiftungat the Kienzle Art Foundation in Berlin. Curated by Hans-Jürgen Hafner, the exhibition celebrates the 15th anniversary of the foundation, established in 2009, and runs from 13 September 2024 to 9 February 2025. THE END JUSTIFIES THE MEANS. Der Wunsch, die Abstraktion, die Stiftung reinterprets selected works from the Jochen Kienzle Collection, focusing on concepts of media usage and reflexivity. It examines how artists have historically employed media criticism and discourse analysis tools in their artistic practices. Zimmermann’s works highlight approaches to abstraction and materiality within the critical dialogue of the exhibition. The exhibition can be visited until 9 February 2025.
