The Xie Zilong Photography Museum in Changsha hosts Anselm Reyle: Magic Shine Ray 800, an exhibition that traces the artist’s creative journey over the past 12 years. Featuring a diverse array of his work, including neon installations, foil paintings, straw bale sculptures, and abstract photography, the exhibition presents over a decade of the artist’s pioneering artistry. Renowned for his works incorporating found objects and materials that reflect the industrial essence of urban landscapes, Reyle’s work explores the interplay between art’s decorative appeal and the themes of consumerism and industrialisation. The exhibition can be visited until 3 November 2024.
