With her Rhythm series, Jorinde Voigt participates in a group exhibition at the St. Regis Hotel organised as a simultaneous event with the 60th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia. Curated by Gisela Winkelhofer, the exhibition showcases the works of numerous artists at the upper terrace of the St. Regis. In the Rhythm series, Voigt creates three-dimensional lines by manipulating coloured paper and drawn lines. Derived from the Greek word ῥυθμός (rhythmos), rhythm refers to regular, recurring movements over time.
