Dirimart is proud to announce Mythologiques, an exclusive solo exhibition by Tomokazu Matsuyama, curated by Christoph Doswald and organised by the Contemporary Istanbul Foundation in conjunction with the 60th International Art Exhibition — La Biennale di Venezia.
The exhibition will take place at Magazzino No. 41 in Venice from 20 April to 24 November 2024, traversing the multifaceted panorama of cultural identity, migration, and the globalised world. Drawing from a life lived in Japan and the USA, Tomokazu Matsuyama’s work is a vibrant testament to the dynamics of cultural identities and the complex interplay of diverse and fluid experiences. The exhibition is also accompanied by a catalogue with the same title.
