Ayşe Erkmen is among the participating artists in the 5th edition of the Autostrada Biennale, taking place from 5 July to 5 October 2025 in Prizren, Kosovo. Leading up to the biennial, artists were invited to engage with the city’s cultural landscape, potential exhibition venues, and local communities. Curated by Erzen Shkololli in collaboration with co-founding directors Leutrim Fishekqiu, Vatra Abrashi, and Barış Karamuço, the programme included site visits to the Autostrada Hangar, ITP Prizren, and key heritage zones across the city. Bringing together a diverse group of artists, this research process played a vital role in shaping the biennial. Supported by the Allianz Foundation, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, and the Municipality of Prizren, the 5th Autostrada Biennale continues to foster regional and international dialogue through contemporary art.
