In the context of its project focusing on the digitalisation and cataloguing of the archive of the artist and poet Komet, who passed away in 2022, Salt hosts a conversation titled ‘Bitmeyen Şiir: Komet’ (Endless Poem: Komet) at Salt Galata on Saturday, 14 October 2023, 3.00 pm. The title of the event is a reference to one of Komet’s poems with the same title, in which he listed those he loved and lost. The conversation brings together the artist Ekin Kano, artist, interior architect and Komet’s friend from the Academy of Fine Arts Gürel Yontan, poet, historian and publisher Levent Yılmaz as well as the writer, critic and publisher Orhan Koçak.
