Fahrelnissa Zeid’s painting Paléocristalos is currently exhibited at the group exhibition titled In the Heart of Another Country: The Diasporic Imagination Rises held in Sharjah, the most extensive presentation of works from the Sharjah Art Foundation Collection to date following its debut at Deichtorhallen Hamburg in October 2022. Curated by Dr Omar Kholeif, the exhibition draws inspiration from the late artist and author Etel Adnan’s landmark book In the Heart of the Heart of Another Country and explores the concept of home, longing and belonging. Bringing together more than 150 artworks by over 60 artists, including Fahrelnissa Zeid, across six galleries of the Foundation, the exhibition can be viewed until 24 September 2023.
