İnci Eviner's Harem at LACMA

İnci Eviner’s moving image Harem, 2009  is featured in the exhibition Women Defining Women In Contemporary Art of the Middle East and Beyond which presents 75 works by women artists who were born or live in what can broadly be termed Islamic societies. The exhibition focuses on the different perspectives and practices of the artists, who were largely perceived as voiceless and invisible in these territories.
