This February, Dirimart marks its 24th anniversary. Founded in Istanbul in 2002 by Hazer Özil, the gallery continues to support artistic production across generations and geographies, bringing together both established and emerging artists from Turkey and around the world.
Alongside its spaces in Dolapdere and Pera, Istanbul, Dirimart has strengthened its international presence through its gallery space in London. With this expansion, the gallery aims to foster a global field of exchange and critical dialogue among artists. As it approaches its 24th year, Dirimart continues to steadily expand its networks of production, representation, and communication through its long-term exhibition programme, interdisciplinary approach, and international collaborations.
