Ugo Rondinone’s The Song Is You has been welcoming visitors to the courtyard of the Royal Academy of Arts, London, since 16 June.
Reimagining the rainbow as a symbol of visibility, belonging and collective coexistence, the installation conveys an inclusive message of hope, acceptance and our shared humanity. By passing beneath the installation, visitors become active participants rather than passive observers. Through this poetic intervention, Rondinone creates a connection between individual experience and collective memory, proposing a shared space in which differences can exist side by side. Creating a powerful encounter within the public realm,
The Song Is You remains on view until 23 August.
