Tomokazu Matsuyama is featured in This Is America: Selections from PAMM’s Collection, a group exhibition that opened to the public at the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) on 28 May, bringing together selected works from the museum’s permanent collection to mark the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence. Bringing together artists from diverse cultural backgrounds working across multiple periods and media, the exhibition presents a range of perspectives on American history and identity. Featuring artists including José Bedia, Judy Chicago, Alfredo Jaar and Rashid Johnson, the exhibition situates national narratives within the cultural dynamics of Miami. This Is America remains on view until 23 May 2027.
