İnci Eviner will participate in the 16th Gwangju Biennale, taking place in South Korea from 5 September to 15 November 2026. Directed by Ho Tzu Nyen and curated by Che Kyongfa, Park Gahee and Brian Kuan Wood, the biennial takes its title, You Must Change Your Life, from the final line of Rainer Maria Rilke’s poem ‘Archaic Torso of Apollo’ and focuses on the transformative potential of art. Bringing together 45 artists and artist collectives from across the world, the exhibition examines processes of individual and collective transformation through relationships with the body, history, community and the environment.
