Ugo Rondinone is participating in MATERIAL WORLDS, the twenty-fifth anniversary exhibition of Lustwarande – Platform for Contemporary Sculpture in Tilburg, with his sculpture white blue monk (2021). On view from 14 June to 27 September 2026, the exhibition brings together leading international artists to explore materiality, craftsmanship and ecological thinking in contemporary sculpture. Conceived by Chris Driessen and Manon Braat, with Chris Driessen serving as curator, the exhibition provides a platform for Rondinone’s white blue monk, which contributes a contemplative presence to the exhibition while reflecting his ongoing exploration of colour, form and the poetic potential of sculpture.
