Ayşe Erkmen participates in Art Field Nanhai Guangdong with a new site-specific installation, on view in Foshan, China, from 17 July 2026 to 3 January 2027. The biennial unfolds under the theme Water Connects, exploring the ecological, cultural and social significance of water through the concept of a ‘museum without walls’. Spanning villages, waterways and public spaces, the exhibition integrates contemporary art into everyday life. Known for her context-sensitive practice, Erkmen’s installation extends her ongoing exploration of place, perception and the transformation of existing environments.
