Ugo Rondinone’s two monumental bronze sculptures, Sublime Light and Blissful Light (2023), have been permanently installed at Allstonway, a multi-purpose public space within Harvard University’s Enterprise Research Campus. With their organic, lightning-like forms, Sublime Light and Blissful Light reflect Rondinone’s longstanding exploration of nature, transformation and humanity’s relationship with the natural world. Bringing contemporary art into everyday life, the two sculptures contribute to the evolving civic landscape of Allstonway, becoming landmark works within its emerging urban identity.
