Anselm Reyle is featured in Kunsthalle Emden’s new exhibition Große Buchstaben, Grelle Farben. Graffiti und Typografie in der Kunst, which brings together twenty-one artists from different geographies and opened to the public on 15 August. Centring on the role of writing, typography, and graffiti in contemporary art, the exhibition explores the transformation of writing into image and the visual impact of letters and street culture through various media, including painting, sculpture, and installation. Curated by the museum’s management in collaboration with the world-renowned graffiti artist MadC (Claudia Walde), the exhibition will remain on view until 28 February 2027.
