The 25th Vehbi Koç Award was presented to Canan Tolon on 21 April 2026 as part of the centenary celebrations of the Koç Group. Known for her works exploring memory through themes of migration, destruction and temporality, Tolon was recognised for her significant contribution to contemporary art. Presented annually, the award honours distinguished figures and outstanding achievements in the fields of culture, education and healthcare whose work has contributed to the development of Turkey.
