Dirimart artists at the collection exhibition of Istanbul Modern

Ghada Amer, Anthony Cragg, Âbidin Elderoğlu, Ayşe Erkmen, İnci Eviner, Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu, Komet, Sarkis, Canan Tolon ve Fahrelnissa Zeid are featured in Under the Same Blue, the tenth collection exhibition of Istanbul Modern. Opened on 8 September and bringing together works by artists from Türkiye and various regions around the world, the first section of the exhibition explores the transformation of modern and contemporary art in Türkiye from the 1940s to the present within a historical and thematic framework. The second section, on the other hand, explores themes such as abstraction, the figure and the body, identity, the city and space, migration, war, memory, and nature through various media including painting, video, photography, sculpture, and installation. Curated by Çelenk Bafra and Deniz Pehlivaner, Under the Same Blue will remain on view until 31 December 2027.
