Ghada Amer at Es Baluard Museu with her solo exhibition

Ghada Amer’s solo exhibition Sculpture Since 1991 at Es Baluard Museu, Palma will open to the public on 18 September 2026. Offering a comprehensive look at the artist’s sculptural practice from 1991 to the present, the exhibition highlights how Amer rethinks the boundaries between painting, sculpture and everyday perception. Bringing together diverse techniques and materials that the artist employs, including ceramics, bronze, embroidery, and painting, the exhibition invites viewers to reflect on the themes of perception, visibility, desire, and ambiguity. Throughout the exhibition, her strategy of fragmenting and blurring the image keeps the viewer’s gaze in constant motion. Curated by Clara Garau and David Barro, Sculpture Since 1991 will remain on view at Es Baluard Museu until 31 January 2027.
