Kemal Önsoy is participating in the collection exhibition Haunted, which opened to the public at Borusan Contemporary on 19 September. Exploring the concept of the human within an aesthetic shaped by technological transformations driven by artificial or ‘human-like’ intelligence, the technological transformations driven by cybernetic networks and nanobiotechnologies, and ‘the fourth industrial revolution’, the exhibition brings together works from the Borusan Contemporary Art Collection on a terrain of tension unfolding between the uncanny and transcendence, ecstasy and experience, image and trace, absence and presence. Curated by Dr Kumru Eren, the exhibition features works by Önsoy alongside Memo Akten, Marco Brambilla, Daniel Canogar, DRIFT, Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, Quayola, teamLab and Zimoun, and will remain on view until 15 August 2027.
