Opened on 3 September 2024 at Dirimart Pera, İnci Eviner’s second solo exhibition with the gallery, Neural Crest of an Island, was extended until 3 November. The exhibition combines the artist’s recent moving image work of the same title and her new installation, Resound of the Studio. Presenting a boundless visual language encompassing historical images, plants, and becoming-animal, the moving image work explores the fragile and transient nature of existence. Eviner’s installation Resound of the Studio takes the artist’s studio as its starting point and revives it in the gallery space. Neural Crest of an Island will be on view at Dirimart Pera until 3 November 2024.
