Sarkis brought the rainbow to the children

Inspired by the children's workshops the artist held at the Venice and Mardin biennials, the exhibition features works created individually and collectively by children from different neighborhoods of Istanbul. Like the universal experience of rain, the children's workshops, prepared in collaboration with neighboring associations and schools in the gallery's area, include 49 mirrors reminiscent of colorful rain depictions. Layers of color created by finger touches on glass surfaces invite the viewer to reflect on the meaning of touch and the power of collective creation.
