Unconscious navigation notes of an art practice

Inci Eviner's solo exhibition, The Neural Crest of an Island, at Dirimart Pera, offers viewers an intimate journey into the unconscious of an artist's practice. Running until November 3rd, the exhibition provided a significant opportunity to consider the unconscious of artistic practices within the context of their relationship to the social and the cosmic. In this essay, I want to follow the opportunity created by Inci Eviner and explore what the unconscious means in this context.
