Emma Stern’s first solo exhibition in Istanbul, Champagne Problems, held at Dirimart Dolapdere from February 5 to March 7, 2025, brought together works in which the artist translated digital avatars created using 3D software into oil paintings on canvas. Exploring representations of virtual women through art history, digital culture, and contemporary beauty standards, Stern examines how images of the female body transform and evolve through new tools and modes of representation.
