Çiğdem Aky’s second solo exhibition at Dirimart Pera, Santosha, held from January 8 to February 22, 2026, brought together works from a new phase in which the artist dissolves the rectangular form that has long been central to her practice and moves beyond established formal boundaries. Drawing on the concept of “santosha”—contentment and acceptance in yogic philosophy—the exhibition focused on relinquishing control, inner liberation, and allowing the painting to follow its own course.
