Hayal Pozantı is featured in the 15th Gwangju Biennale at the May 18 Memorial Culture Center in South Korea. Running from 30 August to 1 December 2024, this edition of the Biennial hosts 31 pavilions across Gwangju, representing a significant presence in the art world with participation from 30 countries. Curated by Abby Chen and Naz Cuguoğlu from the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, the exhibition titled Rhythmic Vibrations explores the meaning of Asian art in contemporary America while re-examining the museum’s role on an international platform through a dynamic narrative.
