Özlem Günyol & Mustafa Kunt at Osage Art Foundation

Presented by Hong Kong’s Osage Art Foundation and curated by Charles Merewether, Manifest Materiality: Giving Form to Matter showcases 29 works by 15 artists, including Özlem Günyol & Mustafa Kunt. The selected work demonstrates a powerful materiality, evident either in the subject matter or in their choice of materials. For some artists, their work addresses the broader social contexts in which they operate, using art as a tool to recall history or highlight the issues of social justice. Others use art metaphorically to represent aspects of everyday life, memory, and history. Additionally, a group of artists delves into the playful allusions and visual subtleties of abstraction, exploring different layers of artistic expression. The exhibition can be visited until 15 June 2024 at the Osage Art Foundation.
