Opened to the public on 19 January and re-imagining private collections in museum spaces, Arter’s latest group exhibition titled Suppose You Are Not showcases works by almost 400 artists, including Nasan Tur, merging anonymous artefacts with everyday objects. Curated by Selen Ansen, the exhibition delves into the collector’s role in creating connections between diverse items, transforming the personal into the public and presenting a world where objects transcend their private origins to gain new meanings. Suppose You Are Not can be visited until 29 December 2024.
