As I make my way to Nighttime, the exhibition by Berke Yazıcıoğlu—whose work I have previously had the opportunity to reflect on and write about—Night Time, My Time by Sky Ferreira plays in my ears.
Encountering an exhibition that directly references the night during daylight hours, I find myself in Dirimart’s Pera space, carried by a sense of contrast. High-contrast paintings, arranged with a measured precision across white walls, greet me.
