Suzan Batu: Untitled

Suzan Batu, inspired by pop art and op art in her works that include various renditions of color and motif, prefers colors so intense that they cannot slip the attention of the viewer. Her attitude rejecting the notion of harmony of colors reveals Batu’s atonal world. As her engagement with colors is enriched, the optical depth she creates, resists even more to the two dimensionality of the canvas.
